K3 Parent-Child Story Competition

Reading can make people stand on the shoulders of giants to see the world!

On 3rd May, the K3 of the school held a parent-child story competition. We hope that parents and children will actively participate in school’s activities through the form of story performance competitions, enhance parent-child relationship, and let the parents and children experience the joy brought by parent-child performances. This activity is also to guide young children to develop good reading habits so that children can be immersed in the hall of reading.

There are 11 groups of parents participating in this story competition, and the stories are performed in both Mandarin and English. Some parents and children sit in the middle of the performance stage, and look at the picture book to tell the story warmly; some wear costumes and use large props, jumping on the stage vividly. The performances are unique and creative, and the children and parents are happy.

Reading needs to start from an early age. As long as we carefully spread the seeds of reading for our children and gradually develop the ability to read, small seedlings will grow up under our watering.
