Premier School Affiliated to Hou Kong Middle School and Shenzhen Hong Kong Children's School became sister schools this year. To strengthen the interaction between the two schools and exchange their teaching ideas and experiences, on 13th May, more than 10 teachers from Hou Kong Premier School’s Kindergarten went to Shenzhen Hong Kong Children School’s Spring Kindergarten for a study tour.

The teachers arrived at the destination at 8:40am, watched the promotional videos of the kindergarten, and then arranged the teaching activities in three groups. The teachers observed the morning talks, regional activities, Orff music teaching and group gymnastics activities of K1, K2 & K3. Through the activities, the teachers have learned some educational methods on how to better develop the child’s independence. At the same time, the foreign teacher of our school also showed a special English teaching activity. Later, under the leadership of the staff, the teachers visited the indoor and outdoor environment of the kindergarten and learned about the use of the environment and the type of materials provided by Spring Kindergarten. Finally, the teachers of the two sides exchanged ideas together. The teachers of Hou Kong Premier School expressed the harvest and insights after the observation, and raised some doubts. The opposed teachers gave detailed answers. The teacher of Hou Kong Premier School benefited a lot in the collision and communication of each other's thoughts.

Through observation and learning, Hou Kong Premier School teachers learned about the educational philosophy of the sister school and gained more experience on the environmental creation and design of the curriculum.
