K2’s Small Garden Harvest

April 3, 2023 is finally the day for the Choy sum harvest. The K2 children were very happy on this day because they could finally take home the vegetables they grew!

Each class came to the plantation happily and walked to their class's small vegetable field. The teachers also recall the time when seeds were sown with the children, from the bare soil to the green vegetable garden today. In addition to allowing the children to witness the wonderful power of nature, they also experienced sowing, waiting for germination, and the joy of growth and harvest. The children were divided into picking teams, everyone started to get busy and pull out the Choy sum together! "Look! This is the Choy sum I pulled. Isn't it amazing?", "I pulled a very long Choy sum!", "Look! Why is there a hole in my vegetable leaves?"... The children all communicated and discussed with their friends! After a while, everyone has gained a lot!

"Small Garden Harvest" allows the children to experience the joy of labor and the joy of vegetable harvesting. They can take the harvested Choy sum home to share with their families, taste the fresh Choy sum together, and at the same time cultivate the habit of eating vegetables for the children.
