In order to promote reading activities, parents are encouraged to accompany their children on reading. Premier School Affiliated to Hou Kong Middle School K3 held a parent-child story competition.

On the day of the event, parents and children carefully prepared to bring wonderful stories, including Little Red Riding Hood, Little Doctor of Disaster, Difficult to Write, and Listen to Me etc. There are both classic stories and stories created by children and parents; stories that are in Chinese and in English. The wonderful performances of the children and parents won applause from time to time.
