HKP Students got Excellent Results in the National English Speech Contest

On October 7th, the three-day China Daily’s "21st Century Cup" National English Speaking Final Competition and the 2nd "One Belt One Road" Youth English Speaking Competition has come to an end. Rhiannon He Enong won the third place in the junior high school group.

The China Daily "21st Century Cup" National English Speaking Competition was first held in 1996 and is opened to teenagers nationwide. More than one million students have applied for the contest. After the regional preliminary rounds, repechage, final rounds, and internet auditions, 400 contestants stood out from the competition showing their talents in the national finals.

After the fierce competition, Rhiannon from HKP won the third place in the junior high school group of the finals, and Huang Yi Wei won the second place in the senior elementary school group of the finals. The students' success in this competition demonstrated the good English standard of Macau students and has increased their confidence in their English learning journey.
