HKP Hosts Anti-Corruption Promotion Activity by CCAC
In an effort to enhance legal awareness among teachers and students while fostering a clean election atmosphere, representatives from Macao's Commission Against Corruption (CCAC) recently visited Hou Kong Premier School (HKP) to conduct an engaging "Anti-Corruption Theater" activity. The event featured an educational drama performance designed to inform students about electoral integrity.
The theater troupe presented a captivating play themed "Clean Elections," simulating a student union election scenario. Through vivid portrayals of illegal practices such as vote-buying and election canvassing, the performers effectively highlighted the importance of ethical conduct in elections while integrating explanations of relevant legal provisions. During interactive sessions, students were invited to participate in simulated election campaigns, allowing CCAC commissioners to analyze legal boundaries in real-time.
Following the performance, the commissioners provided detailed insights into the "Legislative Assembly Election Law," relating it to current affairs. Both teachers and students actively participated in this valuable civic education initiative.
The activity successfully combined entertainment with education, using interactive theater to make complex legal concepts accessible to young learners. Moving forward, HKP will continue to collaborate with government agencies to provide more meaningful learning experiences for students to reinforce their understanding of civic responsibility and integrity.
